Video above includes two films "White-Shit-House," color 5 min 30 1989 and "Capitol-Shit" 4 min 30 sec. The latter was performed and taped at Lower Eastside Anti-Helms variety show (brochure front cover, 6" x 12," 1990, at left),  videographer Morgan Reese. The former was filmed and edited in advance of performance, videographer Vincent Palazzolo, LES, NYC. Below is a review, from the Presidency exhibit at Exit Art where this artwork was shown over a decade later. Video includes the making of White-Shit-House #1, human shit on paper, 4' x 8', 1989 and Capitol-Shit #1, human shit on paper, 4' x 8', 1990. Both pieces no longer exist.

"Institutional Gold" article in Hype Magazine Vol. VII, includes Palazzolo's  interview with artist James Lee Byars and Director of the Whitney Museum of Americn Art David Ross. Palazzolo's photo of Byars's performance art included six additional individuals, Notably, art critic Tom McEviley and the Mudman performance artist Kim Jones. Together they sniffed seven cultural institutions in New York City during a tropical depression. Palazzolo documented their deep breath's, the inhalation of cultural institutions, 1987.
